What do Registered Dietitians do?

Dietitians help patients, clients, and communities build healthy relationships with food and enjoy it. Advice given by a dietitian is tailored to their patient’s and client’s unique needs and concerns. Dietitians are food and nutrition experts. They translate science, medical, and nutrition information into easy-to-understand terms.

What to expect at your first visit

Health History 
When you see the Dietitian for your first appointment you will be asked a series of questions regarding your current health and the reason, you’re in. This provides your dietitian with a better understanding of your health history and how to lead the appointment. 

Privacy 
Dietitian sessions are held in a private room where your privacy is our top priority. 

Treatment 
Based on the information provided with your health history and current nutrition-related concerns, the dietitian will recommend the best course of treatment or direction for future appointments.
