Scarlett completed her 200 hour yoga teacher training in 2018 at Therapeutic approach yoga studio. She also graduated from McGill university in 2001 with a BSc in Physiotherapy. By day, she works for the Nova Scotia Health Authority as a Wellness Facilitator with the Community Health Team. By night, she enjoys teaching yoga. She especially loves using her physio background to figure out ways to make yoga poses accessible to all differing abilities, and to develop classes that target the needs of an aging active population, with an emphasis on things such as balance and functional strength. Her philosophy is that yoga can be gentle on the body yet still challenging!
